The card has been working fine up until a week ago, when Windoze (XP SP3) complained that 'the device cannot start (code 10)'. Well, thanks. That error message is REALLY helpful - it means 'there's some problem but we don't know what it is. You're on your own'.

Since nothing had been changed on the computer (and Windoze Update is disabled so there's no surprises) my first thought was driver corruption, so I uninstalled/reinstalled the NP 6.20 rev O driver (the last issued for that card). Still got the Code 10 error.
Next I tried moving the card into a different computer (also with XP SP3). And it comes up with the Code 10 error. The driver detects the card, the card shows up in Device Manager but it won't work.
